The following terms and conditions apply to the commissions service provided by Jill Hodge to you, the Client
Acceptance of Terms
Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
It is not necessary for the Client to have signed any document for these terms and conditions to apply. If the Client books a workshop from Jill Hodge then the Client will be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the terms applying and have understood and accepted these terms and conditions in full.
Workshop prices
Charges for workshop services to be provided by Jill Hodge are defined in the receipt and confirmation of booking that the Client will receive, via email. The quoted booking fee is valid for a period of 90 days after the confirmation is received. Jill Hodge reserves the right to alter or refuse to honour a booking fee after the expiry of that 90 days.
Payment for the workshop must be made in full at the time of booking through Jill Hodge’s secure website payment method.
Data protection
Jill Hodge will only hold information about you and your booking for as long as strictly necessary to meet applicable laws. We do not share your data with any other organisations unless for legal, contractual, regulatory or law enforcement purposes. We will never sell your personal data or share it in a way that you would not reasonably expect. Full Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Copyright
If the Client chooses to create works from photographs or images supplied by the Client, the Client must have permission to use such photographs & it is their responsibility to not breach any copyright laws.
It is Jill Hodge’s responsibility to ensure that photographs or images supplied by Jill Hodge as images, templates or casts are free from copyright or that appropriate copyright approval has been obtained.
Jill Hodge retains the copyright to her original images, templates and casts supplied by Jill Hodge in the workshop. The Client will not reproduce this copyright artwork outside of the workshop & its usage will not be allowed on any other website apart from on personal social media pages, unless Jill Hodge gives written permission to do so.
If the Client wishes to make any reproductions of the artwork then this must be arranged through Jill Hodge only.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jill Hodge isn’t responsible for any damage to your belongings or any personal injuries sustained while attending the workshop. By taking part, you do so at your own risk. Please look after your own safety and property during the workshop. We recommend you take sensible precautions and only attend if you’re comfortable in doing so.
Social media and promotion
Jill Hodge reserves the right to share examples of the work and the workshop outputs to social media unless the Client expresses this not to be done. Jill Hodge will seek express permission before sharing any images or details of attendees on social media.
Jill Hodge reserves the right to display the artwork on their website and social media pages. If the Client is unhappy about the artwork being displayed, they must state this at the workshop.
Cancellation Policy
If the Client chooses to cancel the workshop within 7 working days of the agreed workshop dates, Jill Hodge reserves the right to withhold 50% of the booking fee paid. If the Client cancels within 48 hours of the agreed workshop date, Jill Hodge reserves the right to withhold 100% of the booking fee paid.
